2 days… clearly not talked to anyone about heroin withdrawal

So I just started methadone treatment. Started Wednesday at 30mg and I'm at 70mg today. I don't understand how but I went from bad cravings, using every 1-3hrs 1.5 grams a day to barely even thinking about using, my cravings are very little and don't feel fentanyl withdrawals. Is that how quick methadone works? I could have gone all day today without using but I scared myself and told myself I need to use or I'll go through withdrawals. If it seriously works that good and that quick I might see the light at the end of the tunnel. Feel free to leave any advice if you've used methadone

Coming from someone whose husband vapes everyday like he has a baby bottle in his mouth every day. Most definitely is addictive and habit forming worse than anything on the market. Vapes should be illegal. It has made him collapse and fall over unconscious. He was a chew tobacco for years and quit. I have never ever seen someone so addicted to vape in all my life. It changes his demeanor, gives adrenaline rush , and crashes down. I am not a Karen or trying to sound like a negative Nancy. It’s not worth it and should not be able to sell. I’ve seen this man loose over a hundred pounds and pass out more than once all due to Vape. Don’t waste your health and life on Vape. It’s far worse than cigarettes and tobacco.

I know a man who's parents drank like no tomorrow. He was prematurely born a month or two in hospital almost died. Finally came home small weak. Now he's slow (Not Forrest Gump slow, but slow; Not down syndrome slow, but again..), psychologically damaged, depressed, awkward, kinda weird like psychopath, socially inept, anxious socially, and struggles with a weak will and with addiction. What a life! Childhood narcissist abuse, domestic violence, bitterness, perfectionist, rage a holic, alcoholism, smothering, parental death and also parental abandonment (he was adopted), and his life is hell. Feel sorry for him bit can do nothing as he's broke, works hard at jobs he can't seem to keep, is clinically deaf, and bc of all this.. not all there.. disabled to a point. Poor guy! 😢

I used to take a perc 30 one a day but now I’m make it last me 2 days and then 2 days half this my second time stopping first was cold turkey and bro i regret that it only took me 4 days so i can leave my room and feel good working but I used take like 6 Tylenols pills so this time feel like tapering down my dose I did 12 hours and I was dying and I had things to do so if you like me than Yhea do that don’t go cold turkey from my experience 🫡

Just got out of detox and I’m glad I did with professional help. I tried to do it alone but the anxiety and tremors were crazy. I’m going on day 4 and it’s been getting easier. Stay strong guys, it is the cheapest and easiest drug to get.

Why I never did drugs.

Taper all the way down to 1 m. A day, do that for a week. Then have valerian root, sleeping pills. First 4 days will be hell then it will get better. By day 8 will be totally detoxed. Then will feel normal but tired fast.

I don’t know if you will see this but I’m a 17 year old guy I smoked weed occasionally until about 16 when I was basically high all day everyday until about a month ago because it never really negatively impacted my day to day and helped me in a lot of ways, when I was really young like 6th grade and middle school I “experimented” with drug store drugs dxm, sudafed, etc occasional Xanax or ambien but I was never addicted to anything like that because I had no steady stream first time I did mushrooms I was 14 and then didn’t try them again until I was almost 17 had a month where i did mushrooms a bunch of times because I was uneducated about what they can do to you and all that and then I wanted to try acid and got sold some fake acid idk what it was but I did it three times and it was probably a decently high dose that experience made me decide I would never try another “drug” again and i would quit smoking weed until 25. If you see this my question is, do you think my brain will recover? When i was a kid I was always told I was so gifted and everything and even now I still get told things like that but then I’m so worried I messed up my brain development and wasted all the potential I had for life. I think about this so much and it keeps me awake at night, if you see this I would really like your opinion. Also sorry for not punctuating half of this I wasn’t thinking about it it’s probably a pain to read.

The Bible says he heals and he really does. It was the most amazing feeling. The following day I awoke with the same peace and lightness in my chest. I never touched Xanax again, I had zero withdrawals! I haven’t had anxiety or a racy heart once since. God healed my nervous system, took away the addiction, anxiety and withdrawals. He gave me a new heart like the Bible says he will when you believe and he gives you the Holy Spirit to live inside your heart. If you want to be healed to, say this prayer of salvation out loud.. "Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and surrender my life. Wash me clean. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That he died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day for my Victory, I believe that in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that Jesus is my Savior and Lord. Now everything’s changed not just my heart, my children are no longer living a spiritually dead life, we go to church every Sunday, I’ve read the New Testament so far, I still can’t believe God saved a wretch like me. I have a second chance at life thanks to Jesus. He is real, for me my ❤️ is proof 🥹

I took this medicine for the first time today and it literally saved me. I had crippling anxiety for 4 days I was just in bed depressed as hell. I just hope I wont get addicted to it because it feels to good to be true right now.
